Welcome to our site! Fanfare Barok is an early music ensemble based in the Washington, D.C., area specializing in period performance of baroque and early classical music. Founded in 2010 by baroque trumpeter Douglas Wilson, the ensemble features strings, winds, brass, and vocals. Fanfare Barok applies scholarship to performance, creating informed musical experiences.
